The CSQ-3 integrates two functions, namely synchroscope and check synchronising
relay into one easy to install package, microprocessor-controlled and with no
moving parts.
Four obvious advantages characterise this product:
Safety: Being front operated via the push-buttons behind the removable front
cover, the CSQ-3 does not expose the user to near hazardous voltages for set
point programming - an innovative DEIF feature not commonly seen elsewhere on a
market where the switchboard usually has to be opened to allow for operation of
the synchroscope.
Accuracy: Push-buttons are used for programming the unit instead of
potentiometers. In addition, the exact settings are read out on an LED scale
enabling very precise settings.
Flexibility: The standard CSQ-3 can be on-site calibrated to virtually all
desired settings - you will not have to buy customized versions to fit the unit
to your specific application.
Mechanical and electrical robustness: The front is equipped with an extremely
robust front cover effectively solving all problems of broken and reflective
glass. Furthermore, the CSQ-3 presents an impressive electrical immunity to
harmonic distortion - it has been tested up to 30% 3rd harmonic.
The user settings of the CSQ-3 are phase window (symmetrical or asymmetrical),
voltage difference, sync. relay delay, length of sync. pulse and dead busbar
function with offset voltage setting.
The CSQ-3 from DEIF meets or exceeds all relevant requirements set in
international standards for electrical equipment including IEC and UL/cUL
